On October 22, 2008, the second edition of the IDIS-seminar ‘Design Effectiveness’ will take place in Amsterdam. Its content focuses on the effectiveness of design: the economic effect of engaging with designers.
Gert Kootstra
The seminar ‘Design Effectiveness’ will be lead by Gert Kootstra. Gert has plenty of experience with design projects, on the agency side as well as on the client’s side. In the eighties he worked at Tel Design as team leader, director and partner. Since 2000 he occasionally applies himself to professionalising design in various forms and he obtained a Master of Brand Management degree (Erasmus University). As a design management consultant Gert divides his time between his own consultancy practice Census, research for CBRD/InHolland University and lecturing at the Master of Design Management (EURIB). Additionally he is the author of a number of books and articles published on this subject.
